The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is hosting a Pre-Solicitation Conference on 11 January 2017, from 0900 to approximately 1200 (EST), to provide interested parties with technical information and to solicit feedback on Code 85’s requirement for engineering, technical, and non-technical administrative services. Tasking includes full life cycle services to encompass analysis, implementation, test, verification and implementation of Configuration Management, Production Engineering, Quality Assurance / Reliability, Acquisition Logistics, Administration, Demilitarization Analysis and Training for Code 85 assigned projects and programs. The solicitation will be competed via SeaPort-e in Zone 1 (Northeast). This is a follow-on procurement of NUWCDIVNPT SeaPort-e Task Order N00178-04-D-4083/ N453. The incumbent is McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC).
The Pre-Solicitation Conference will be held at the NUWCDIVNPT Undersea Collaboration & Technology Outreach Center (UCTOC), Building 80, Newport, RI 02841.
Interested attendees must pre-register via e-mail to Keri Gunn at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide the attendees’ name, company, phone number, and e-mail address. Seating is limited to the first 125 participants who register. The Government intends to publish the list of all of the attendees to encourage subcontracting opportunities. Registrations will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (EST) on 9 January 2017.
Questions regarding this requirement shall be submitted in advance to the SeaPort-e Portal no later than 2:00 p.m. (EST) 9 January 2017. Questions will be allowed during the Pre-Solicitation Conference. Questions asked during the Conference and the resultant answers will be posted to the SeaPort-e Portal.
The NUWCDIVNPT Building 80 UCTOC is located outside of the NUWC Main Gate (Gate 23) so Visit Requests are not required. However, a NAVSEA Badge, Common Access Card (CAC), military ID, or state driver’s license will be required at check-in on the day of the Conference. Check-in starts at 0900 and the presentation will begin promptly at 1000.
NOTE 1: parking is limited; we encourage participants to car pool if possible.
NOTE 2: The Undersea Diner will be providing coffee service on a cash basis.
